Quick revision from Lecture 14.
- Cause: Porque choveu, o trânsito ficou horrível.
- Consequence: Tinha trânsito. Por isso, me atrasei.
- Clarify: O metrô parou. Ou seja, vou chegar atrasado.
- In Lecture 14 you explained porque, por isso, and então. Today you express how you feel about it — and what to do when you don’t agree.
Tip: Brazilians soften disagreement to keep harmony — but they still express strong feelings on food, traffic, and football.

Part 2 — Gramática: emoção + que + subjuntivo
The rule
When the subject of the main verb is different from the subject of the subordinate clause, use que + presente do subjuntivo.

quando + indicativo (real situations)
When describing things that actually happen:
