Part 8 — Nota cultural: aparência e relações em SP
Relationships Namorado/namorada = dating relationship. Parceiro/parceira = more serious/stable. Ex is universal slang.
Fashion in SP Paulistanos often dress casual chic — jeans, t-shirt, clean sneakers. Business districts (Faria Lima, Paulista) see more roupa social.
Celebrity culture Novelas (Globo) and sertanejo/funk stars dominate conversation. Mentioning Anitta, Caetano, Neymar, Gretchen etc. builds rapport.
Identification apps When meeting someone: send a foto or describe exatamente onde you are: Tô na saída A, de camisa azul.
Se parecer com Compliment or observation: Você se parece com… — common and friendly.

Written
- Describe 3 people you know (8 sentences each): use ser, ter, usar, se chamar + 1 with este/esse/aquele + que.
- Describe a Brazilian celebrity (actor, singer, athlete) — 10 sentences.
- Write a phone dialogue (10 lines) for meeting someone at a metrô station — include physical description.
- Translate: / That woman who works with me is tall and has green eyes. / He's wearing sneakers and a black jacket. / She looks like her sister. / What does your boyfriend look like? / I used to have long hair.
