Two verbs you hear constantly when eating out.
Pôr (to put / to place)

Com vs de — quick guide

Part 3 — Pronomes o, a (Direct object pronouns — intro)
Direct object pronouns replace the thing being acted on. In Brazilian restaurant speech, pronouns often stay clear — but you’ll hear both forms.

Natural Brazilian speech — keep the noun
In real restaurants, Brazilians usually repeat the noun:

Rule for A1: Focus on Pode trazer a conta?, Quero um suco — full nouns. Pronouns come naturally as you advance.
