Today we describe people — how they look, not yet personality or family.
Part 1 — Adjetivos de aparência (Appearance adjectives)
When you meet people in São Paulo — at work, in your prédio, at a festa — you’ll describe appearance naturally.
Height and build

Part 2 — Gramática: ser + adjetivo e ter + noun
Grammar focus: Use ser for general traits; use ter for body parts you possess.

Gender agreement
Adjectives agree with the noun they describe:

Pronunciation (2 min)
Adjective endings: -o / -a

moreno/morena: Stress on -re-. The o and a endings are clear — don’t swallow them.

- Describe 3 people (colleagues, neighbors, or family) — 2 sentences each: one with ser, one with ter or usar.
- Vocabulary: Label 6 body/face words in Portuguese (cabelo, olhos, barba…).
- Translate: The woman is short, blond, and has green eyes. What does she look like?
Oral
- Describe a family member physically — 4–5 sentences. Record yourself (1 minute).
- Practice asking: Como ele é? / Como ela é? / Ele é alto ou baixo?
